Senior forward Aaliyah Nolan who leads the team in goals placed second-team for the second straight year

Four Mean Green players were voted to the all-conference third-team: seniors Carissa Sanders and Taylor Torres, sophomore Berklee Peters and freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Brann

Brann who was named Top Drawer Soccer's No. 3 freshman keeper in the nation in its midseason report along with being ranked as the No. 67 overall player was voted to the conference's all-freshman team.

The eight all-conference honors brings the program total to 87 in 24 years.

James is the first UNT soccer player to be named as a conference's Defensive Player of the Year since Kelsey Hodges in 2013.

The eight honors is two more than the 2015 and 2000 team, who up until this year had held the program-record for most all-conference honors with six.
