A 6-2 center for the Lady Eagles women's basketball team, Clara Campbell averaged 20.4 points and 11.7 rebounds to lead North Texas to its first-ever 20-win season and the Southland Conference championship in 1985-86, earning Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year and first team all-conference honors.
As a senior, Campbell again paced the Lady Eagles in scoring (15.0 ppg) and rebounding (10.0 rpg) to earn second-team all-Southland Conference recognition.
