A member of the Eagles track team from 1964-67, Doyle Magee won Missouri Valley Conference championships in the 100-, 200- and 400-yard dashes as a freshman in 1964.
During his career, he was a three-time MVC champion in the 220, a two-time champ in the 440 and a three-time league winner as a member of the 440-yard relay, in which he ran the anchor leg.
