Induction:
1997

Hayden Fry served as the school's athletic director and head football coach from 1973 to 1978, during which time he won one Missouri Valley Conference championship and four of his teams produced a combined 33-11 record. Under his guidance, the Eagles posted key victories over Tennessee (21-14 in 1975), Houston (28-0 in 1975), SMU (24-13 in 1977) and Oklahoma State (12-7 in 1978).
