Max Goldsmith helped lead North Texas track teams to Lone Star Conference championships in 1941 and 1946.
He enjoyed a long and successful career as a high school track coach who was a three-time Coach of the Year in Texas and elected to the Texas High School Coaches Hall of Honor.
