An imposing center on the basketball team, Willie Davis was the Missouri Valley Conference's Sophomore of the Year in 1964-65 after averaging 16.2 points and 12.7 rebounds.
He was also voted to the all-MVC team that season, earning honorable mention all-league recognition as a junior and senior.
