Vince (Vinny) Patterson was originally from Pearland, Texas before joining the Mean Green football team in 1995. After redshirting his first year his playing career took off in 1996 and went through 1999. Vince was Big West Honorable Mention his junior and senior years as an offensive lineman. He played in 43 of a potential 44 games and started 38 in a row at one point.

Vince is now back in Pearland working for a commercial roofing and waterproofing company called Chamberlin-Houston, Ltd in the operations department, but will soon be an estimator. He is single with no children and says "I am a big fan of the Mean Green and go to football games every opportunity I get."
