Join the Mean Green at the 9th Annual Denton Charity Mudbug Boil and Gumbo Cook-off this Saturday at the North Texas State Fair Grounds.

Arguably, the best crawfish boil ever takes place on Saturday, May 7 from 11 am to 7 pm. North Texas Athletic Director Rick Villarreal and head coaches Darrell Dickey, Johnny Jones and Dawna Prevette will be on hand to judge the gumbo contest at 2 pm.

In addition to the mudbugs, there will be live music, a silent auction and a children’s area set up on the fair grounds. Look for the North Texas tents and Bounce House! A portion of the proceeds will go to the following benefactors: Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home, Denton County Friends of the Family, Mother’s Multiples and the Mean Green Club.
