Green Gang: Follow Soccer At The SBC Tourney
The Mean Green soccer team, fresh off a conference championship, are ready for the Sun Belt Tournament, and searching for its first NCAA tournament berth since 2005. We have the Mean Green Soccer team covered this week in Murfreesboro, here's a brief rundown of what's going on in Murfreesboro:
-Up to the minute updates will be posted on facebook.com/meangreensoccer and twitter.com/meangreensoccer, so follow on your social media of choice. Look for scoring updates, game info, videos, and the updated whereabouts of unofficial team mascot T-Rex. Our first video of the week is below, from the Sun Belt banquet.

- Awards are pouring in for the Mean Green after winning the Sun Belt on Friday. The Mean Green are now ranked 10th in the South Region, moving back into the rankings for the first time since early September. Kelsey Hodges was not only named Sun Belt Player of the Week, but CollegeSoccer360.com named her as a national Prime-Time Performer. Hodges, along with Ellen Scarfone and Michelle Young, were named First Team All-Sun Belt. John Hedlund was named Coach of the Year, as well.
