No. 24- Whatchu Talkin' 'Bout, Willis Hudson?
We are talking about Willis Hudson today, namely his school record of 24 sacks in a career, which makes him North Texas' official career leader in sacks.
Hudson entered 1994 with just one career sack, registered in 1993, but had a career year, as the Mean Green won the Southland Conference title. Hudson had 14.5 sacks, which is North Texas' single-season record. Hudson followed that up with 8.5 sacks in 1995, the program's first year back in Division 1-A.
Hudson was named first team all-conference in 1994, and probably would have been in 1995, had the Mean Green belonged to a conference.
