Fouts Nears Date With Wrecking Ball

Photo Gallery DENTON, Texas - The demolition of the east-side stands at Fouts Field is nearing the wrecking-ball stage.
Demolition crews completed the removal of the light poles from atop the stands, and fine-detail work continued late this week in preparation for bringing in a wrecking ball to reduce the 61-year old concrete stands.
The wrecking ball is expected to be employed in the next few days.
