North Texas Cheer Heads To Nationals

DENTON -- The North Texas cheer team will compete at the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship this week in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The squad's first performance will take place on Thursday, April 8th at approximately 10:13 a.m., central time. There will be video on-demand of the Mean Green's performance a few hours after the team's scheduled competition.
The cheer team will be competing in the Division I All-Girl Intermediate category. Last year, the squad finished 10th in Division IA- Small Coed.
If the Mean Green finish in the top 12 of their division, the team will compete in finals on Friday morning. If the team finishes in the bottom 11, the Mean Green will move on to the Challenge Cup and compete on Thursday afternoon.
