Beyond the Green: Unity

DENTON - In the wake of national protests following the killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, among others, the development of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives became a top priority for Mean Green Athletics. Together, staff, coaches and student-athletes have identified 15 strategic initiatives to promote equality and justice. These initiatives are designed to serve as a starting point for student-athletes and department staff to communicate and learn from each other while promoting diversity, equality and inclusion.
