DENTON - After winning the 2019-2020 Conference USA regular season title, Mean Green men's basketball was ready for their shot at the tournament crown. As COVID-19 cases began surging around the country in early March, the mass-cancellation of events quickly closed the book on any hope of a postseason run.
One year later, head coach Grant McCasland and the men's basketball program are set to return to the Air Force Reserve Conference USA Basketball Championships in Frisco with their sights set on finishing what they started in 2020.
