2021 Outdoor
Samaniego threw 16.89m at the ACU Oliver Jackson Twilight for a new personal record in the shot put.

Earned a 2nd place finish, and a new personal record in the hammer throw with a distance of 58.33m

Samaniego threw a distance of 44.80m in the discus earning him a new personal record in the event.

2021 Indoor Season
Placed 1st in shot put at the Kansas State Wildcat Invitational with a throw of 16.39m.

Placed 3rd in the weight throw at the C-USA Championship with a throw of 18.25m.

2020 Outdoor Season
Did not compete due to COVID-19

2020 Indoor Season
Finished 2nd place in both the shot put and the weight throw at the Red Raider Invitational with a throw of 15.69m and 16.80m respectively.

2019 Outdoor Season
Samaniego earned a 2nd place at his first North Texas Classic with a heft of 14.91m in the shot put.

A throw of 47.43m in the hammer throw at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational won Samaniego a 1st place finish.

2019 Indoor Season
At his first meet for the Mean Green, a throw of 14.85m in the shot put earned Samaniego a 3rd place finish at the Kansas Wildcat Invitational.

Indoor Track & Field
- Recorded a personal best mark in weight throw of 17.87 meters for sixth place at the C-USA Championships (2/22/20)
- Placed eighth in shot put at 15.51 meters at the C-USA Championships (2/22/20)
- Threw a career-best 15.96 meters in shot put at the Red Raider Invitational (1/24/20)
- Took fifth in weight throw (17.52 meters) and eighth in shot put (14.94 meters) at the J.D. Martin Invitational (2/8/20)
