Aaron Bota was hired as the Director of Football Creative in August of 2023. He oversees all aspects of creative media for the UNT football program including photos, graphics, video while operating the team's social media channels.

Bota comes to UNT after spending stints working in the creative departments at both University of the Incarnate Word and Army West Point.

Bota had two stints at UIW, one as the football creative content coordinator in the spring of 2023 and one as the football creative media coordinator in 2021-22.

Between his times at UIW, Bota spent 2022-23 as the football recruiting creative coordinator at Army.

Bota also gained experience as an undergrad at Georgia Southern University, where he was a graphic design intern in 2020-21 and a football video assistant from 2016-21.

Bota received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Managemnt in 2020.
