Brad Lovick joined UNT as the athletic department's IT Support Coordinator in January of 2023 and was elevated to IT Support Manager in May 2026.
As IT Support Manager, Lovick oversees the planning, deployment and support of technology across the athletics department. He manages servers, computers, printers, audio-video systems and other critical technology infrastructure while providing technical support for coaches, staff and student-athletes. Lovick also leads software deployment and system upgrades, coordinates with university IT departments and third-party vendors, mentors student employees and support staff, and helps ensure seamless technology operations for athletic events and day-to-day departmental needs.
Prior to joining North Texas Athletics, Lovick served as a Technical Support Specialist for Lewisville ISD, where he provided technology support for multiple campuses, managed enterprise device deployments and assisted with network infrastructure and classroom technology. Before that, he was a Technical Account Manager at Prototype, partnering with small and medium-sized businesses on technology planning, server and network projects, and IT support solutions.
Lovick also previously worked at the University of North Texas as a computer lab assistant while completing his undergraduate studies.
A two-time graduate of the North Texas area, Lovick earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas Woman's University in 2022 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UNTÂ in 2017.
