Cody Rieger was hired as the Assistant Director for Football Video in July of 2024 and was elevated to the Director for Football Video in February of 2025.
Rieger comes to UNT after spending the 2023 season as a football video coaching intern at North Carolina, helping the Tar Heels finish 8-5 and make an appearance in the Duke's Mayo Bowl. Rieger also spent the spring of 2023 at Minnesota as an intern.
Prior to working at UNC, Rieger was a student assistant at North Dakota State for four seasons, becoming proficient in using Pro Football Focus (PFF) data to provide analytics throughout the season.
Rieger graduated from North Dakota State in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in business.
