Grace Esquibel was hired as Assistant Director for Broadcast in June of 2026.

She joined UNT after spending three years as a live broadcast student employee with Mean Green Productions. In her time as an undergrad, Esquibel served as the produced for UNT basketball, softball and volleyball games on ESPN+ and also worked on linear broadcasts for over 10 UNT contests in her career.

In addition to her time at UNT, Esquibel also served as an event presentation intern with the Dallas Cowboy in the 2025 football season. She also produced UIL Texas High School Football State Championship games at AT&T Stadium and served as a field producer for the Big 12 Championship and the Cotton Bowl in 2025.

Esquibel also worked for North Texas Televesion as a new and weather anchor and reporter during her undergrad. She graduated from UNT in May of 2026 with a Bachelor's Degree in broadcast journalism.
