Jazmyne Dixson has been a member of the University of North Texas Athletics staff since 2014 and was officially hired as the Assistant Director for Business Operations in August of 2026.
Prior to working within the athletic department, Dixson was an adjunct faculty member in UNT's G. Brint Ryan College of Business prior to coming to the athletic department. While there, she developed and taught undergraduate business courses focused on professional communication, leadership development, career readiness, and workplace professionalism.Â
In addtion to her work in the buisness schools, Dixson also worked as a ticketing operations specialist for UNT from 2014-26. She provided year-round operational support for UNT ticket operations, event logistics and premium guest services. She coordinated premium ticketing, VIP experiences, alumni engagement initiatives and event-day operations while also managing interdepartmental billing, invoicing and financial reconciliation for more than 300 university accounts. Dixson also supported the implementation of a new ticketing platform to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
In addition to her work with UNT Athletics, Dixson has served as an Internship Specialist in the UNT Career Center since 2023, coordinating university operations, employer partnerships and experiential learning initiatives. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, where she teaches undergraduate courses focused on professional communication, leadership development, career readiness and workplace professionalism.
Dixson previously served as a Teaching Assistant in UNT's Recreation, Event and Sports Management program and spent four years as a Senior Operations and Recruiting Coordinator with Supplemental Health Care. She began her professional career with UNT Dining Services, where she served as a Food Service Manager II and managed daily operations and a workforce of more than 200 employees.
Dixson earned a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Event and Sports Management from UNT in 2016 and a master's degree in Higher Education and Recreation, Event and Sports Management from UNT in 2022. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management at UNT, with an expected graduation date of May 2027.
