Mason Ponder began at North Texas in September 2021. He serves as the Director of Creative Video, where he helps support the visual brand strategy, storytelling, and creative video content production for all UNT sports, as well as producing content for external use on social media and implementing creative video strategy for the athletic department.

Prior to UNT, Ponder earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Journalism from Oklahoma State University in Spring 2018. Ponder worked in a Video Production Marketing role at OSU after graduating, as well as various freelance jobs.

After meeting in high school, then attending Oklahoma State together, Mason and his wife MacKenna have been married since 2020. The couple also have a cat named Callie. In his free time, he enjoys smoking/grilling bbq, his shoe collection and golfing.
