Neomi Brown joined UNT as an assistant director of broadcast media in August 2025.
She comes to North Texas after working with 12th Man Productions as a student intern while at Texas A&M University. In her role, Brown developed experience producing, assistant directing, operating replay and graphics, while also shooting creative video for the Aggie women's basketball and tennis teams. Previously, she held roles as a student assistant within Texas A&M's athletic communications department, interned with Dave Campbell's Texas Football and blogged for The Dallas Morning News.
Brown earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas A&M in May 2025. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Louisiana, before moving to Houston in 2011. In her meantime, she likes to spend time with her dog, Gumbo, and her cat, Thebe.
