Nicole Hergert joined North Texas in 2018 after three years at Highland Community College as the assistant athletic trainer.

Prior to that, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University, working with the cheer, dance and softball teams. While at Oklahoma State, she earned her master’s degree in health and human performance with an emphasis in athletic training.

Before OSU, Hergert earned her Bachelor’s in Science from Kansas State University in 2012 where she worked with cheer, track and field, and football as a student athletic trainer.
