Rachel Banfield joined UNT Athletics as the Assistant Director of Creative in July 2025.

Prior to her time in Denton, Banfield was a content producer for Kentucky Athletics, where she worked closely with the Wildcats’ athletics teams to deliver video content and create a brand across social media.

Banfield primarily shot video for softball, women’s basketball and gymnastics for Kentucky.

Banfield graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Art and Studies in May 2024. She also earned a minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies at the university.
