Shon Blackburn began at North Texas in May 2023. He serves as Director of Ticket Services, where he assists with day-to-day and game day operations as well as making outbound sales calls. He was promoted from Assistant Director to Director in January of 2026.

Prior to UNT, Blackburn earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Kennesaw State University where he also served as a Data Analytics Intern for the baseball team. He then went on to work as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations at Louisiana Tech.

Son of Felicia and Tommy Blackburn, Shon has two older brothers Paul and Thomas.
