Suzanne Dickenson began at North Texas in January 2022. She serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Academic Services, where she provides direct oversight for Student-Athlete Academic Services, which encompasses both student-athlete continuing eligibility and advising as well as the Learning Assistance Program. She also oversees process for tracking Academic Progress Rate (APR) and Graduation Success Rate (GSR), while serving as the primary sport counselor for Men’s Basketball and Volleyball.

Prior to UNT, Dickenson earned her Master's of Education in School Administration from Abilene Christian University. Dickenson has held numerous roles prior to UNT, including at Texas Tech University where she served as Senior Athletic Academic Advisor (2008-2012), Assistant Director of Academic Services (2012-2017), and most recently, Assistant Athletic Director of Academic Services (2017-2021). She has also held positions at Abilene Christian University, working as both an Assistant Track & Field Coach and the Director of Athletic Academic Services from 2001 – 2008.
