DENTON, Tex.- Former North Texas linebacker Brad Kassell has signed a free agent contract with the Tennessee Titans. Kassell, the third all-time leading tackler at North Texas, was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year last season.

Kassell was one of just two players to be a unanimous selection to the Sun Belt Conference first team. Kassell was also a unaimous selection to the Big West First team as a junior. He earned second team all Big West honors as a sophomore. Kassell's most production season was in 2000 when he led the team with 115 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, and four interceptions.
