The field is currently covered in a crushed rock layer that will provide the base for the various layers of the Omnigrass surface. Football lines were chalked onto the rock surface to help installers get an idea for the layout of the playing field.

Concrete has been poured at three of the four playing grids at the Waranch Tennis Complex located next to Victory Hall. The complex will house 12 courts and a club house and should be completed in October.
