Clinesmith and Lynch Win Regal Eagle Raffle

DENTON (8/19/05) - Curtis Clinesmith and Karl Lynch won the Regal Eagle Raffle and a round-trip bus ride to the North Texas/LSU football game on Sept. 3 after having their names drawn by University of North Texas president Norval Pohl. The Regal Eagle Raffle raised $16,500 for the Mean Green Club Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.
Alongside North Texas Athletic Director Rick Villarreal and Foundation Staff Executive Director Doug Chadwick, Dr. Pohl picked winners Clinesmith and Lynch L.L.P. from a box containing 330 tickets at the new athletic center.
The lucky winners and nine guests receive round-trip travel on the Regal Eagle to Baton Rouge, LA for the Sept. 3 North Texas/LSU game. The trip also includes game and tailgating tickets and hotel accommodations.
The North Texas football team opens its 2005 schedule with a matchup against nationally-ranked LSU at Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, Sept. 3.
