North Texas head coach Dan McCarney still has plenty of fans back in Iowa and yesterday Sean Keeler of the Des Moines Register had a column about Coach Mac getting back in the saddle.
McCarney Is Happy To Turn Over A New Leaf
Interestingly enough I was in Des Moines the day Coach Mac was hired and the media take on him was overwhelmingly positive. So much that I saw more footage on the sports at 10 in Des Moines that night than raw footage that aired in DFW.
