Fouts Field Meets The Wrecking Ball

DENTON, Texas - The process of reducing the Fouts Field eastside stands to rubble began Friday afternoon when a demolition crew unleashed a wrecking ball on the north end of the concrete seating area.
With the bleacher seats removed, within an hour the wrecking ball and ripped apart the top two northern-most sections, leaving heaps of crushed and powdered concrete strewn around the base of the pillars. Demolition work will continue for the next several days.
