Mean Green Club Launches Recruit 15 Challenge
12/10/2014 12:00:00 AM | Mean Green Athletic Fund
The Mean Green Club is launching a new initiative in its quest to recruit 1,000 new members and raise MGC's total membership to over 2,000 by August 31, 2015.
The program is called the Recruit 15 Challenge, and is a grass-roots effort to encourage current Mean Green Club members to recruit UNT alumni, family, friends, and North Texas fans to join the Mean Green Club.
As part of this drive, the Mean Green Club has created a new MGC membership level, the Spiriki level, which allows people to join with a minimum gift of $25.
For every 15 new members who register online at a minimum gift of $25, the recruiting member will:
- earn bonus priority points;
- be recognized at the MGC appreciation event in the summer;
- be entered into a drawing to have a $25,000 endowed scholarship established in their name at North Texas and become a lifetime member of the Mean Green Club's Forever Mean Green Society.
The more recruits a member brings in, the more points and endowment-drawing chances the member will earn:
- For 15 new MGC recruits, the member will earn 15 bonus priority points and one entry in the endowment drawing;
- For 20 recruits, 40 bonus priority points and three entries in the drawing;
- For 30 recruits, 60 bonus priority points and six entries in the drawing;
- For 40 recruits, 80 bonus priority points and 10 entires in the drawing.
Members will be credited for every new recruit who joins the Mean Green Club online with a gift of $25 or more and identifies the MGC member who solicited them.
New members can join the Mean Green Club here.
