2014 Coaches Caravan

GAINESVILLE - The 2014 North Texas Coaches Caravan rolled into Cooke County Wednesday evening and drew a lively crowd at First State Bank's Conference Center.

The event, the third of four stops of this year's Caravan, was hosted by Frank Morris, owner of First State Bank and a Mean Green supporter, and was attended by North Texas coaches Dan McCarney (football), Tony Benford (men's basketball), Mike Petersen (women's basketball), Tracey Kee (softball), John Hedlund (soccer), Andrew Palileo and Susan Halverson (volleyball), Stefanie Slekis (cross country), and athletic director Rick Villarreal.

The Caravan finishes its 2014 run Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Click here for a Coaches Caravan Cotton Bowl parking map.
