Construction Going On At Lovelace Stadium

If you have driven by Mean Green Village recently you may have noticed construction going on next to the Lovelace Softball Stadium. The new building going up will house concessions, a ticket office and restrooms for the softball complex.
The structure is being built by Axiom Commercial Company LTD owned by North Texas Alumni Virgil Strange. Strange has assisted with multiple projects in the Mean Green Village; renovations to the academic center and The “E” Basketball Practice facility.
Head softball coach Tracy Key is excited about the new structure and sees anything done to enhance the fan experience as a positive.
“Our fans are very supportive and deserve a first class experience," said Kee.
