Mean Green Club Holds Annual Thank-A-Thon

Over 90 North Texas student-athletes last Wednesday spent their evening calling Mean Green Club members in the annual thank-a-thon.
The thank-a-thon is an opportunity for student-athletes to thank donors and to share how their donations have impacted them personally.
Some of the men’s basketball players said that their favorite part of the evening was hearing the stories from donors on why North Texas meant so much to them and about their experiences at the university.
Mean Green Club members were excited for their phone call from a student-athlete and offered words of encouragement as fall sports finish their season and winter sports begin.
Student-athletes were able to call every Mean Green Club member with a listed phone number before the end of the evening.
