Coaches Caravan To Visit White Elephant Saloon, House of Blues

DENTON - The 2015 North Texas Coaches Caravan will make five stops across the Metroplex this May, including lunch-time events in Dallas and Fort Worth.
The Caravan allows fans to meet and hear from North Texas coaches, including football coach Dan McCarney and men's basketball coach Tony Benford, and administrators. Food and beverages will be served at each Caravan stop, and admission is free.

The 2015 schedule:
· Tuesday, May 19, Gainesville - the first stop will be at the First State Bank Conference Center in Gainesville, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
· Wednesday, May 20, Fort Worth - this will be the caravan's first lunch-time event, and its first trip to the White Elephant Saloon, which bore witness to one of the most famous gunfights of the old west, between Luke Short and Jim Courtright in 1887. The White Elephant is located in the Fort Worth Stockyards, and the caravan event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
· Thursday, May 21, Dallas - the caravan will make its first-ever visit to House of Blues in downtown Dallas from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
· Tuesday, May 26, Plano - the caravan makes its annual visit to the Park Place Lexus dealership of former North Texas quarterback Jordan Case. Time is 6 to 8 p.m.
· Thursday, May 28, Denton - the caravan has traditionally kicked off at Apogee Stadium's HUB Club, but this year it concludes at the home of the Mean Green football team. The caravan finale will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
