DENTON - The North Texas athletics development office has rounded out its staff with the hiring of Laura Nichols.
As the director of the Mean Green Club, Nichols' primary role is to oversee the annual fund, as well as contribute to increases in season ticket sales in football and men's/women's basketball.
Nichols comes to North Texas from the University of South Florida where she was a graduate assistant with the Bulls Club. She raised $44,800 during renewal campaign in April of 2015 and contacted current and lapsed Bulls Club members to renew memberships to achieve an overall team goal of $2 million.
Nichols graduated from Louisiana Tech with a bachelor's degree in economics in 2012. She interned with the ticket operations in the fall of 2012.
