Eight Inducted into Mean Green Hall of Fame

DENTON – The North Texas Hall of Fame gained eight new members Friday night, when the 2019 class was officially inducted in a ceremony at the University Union. A century of Mean Green history is represented in the most recent class, with one of the winningest coaches in school history who coached in the early 1900's to a football player in his first year of eligibility, after leading the 2013 team to one of the best years in school history.
The North Texas Hall of Fame welcomed the following people as part of its 2019 class:
Marcus Camper (football, 1985-88)
Casey Fitzgerald (football, 2005-08)
Kelsey Hodges (soccer, 2010-13)
Amber Jackson (women's basketball, 2006-09)
Zach Orr (football, 2010-2013)
J.W. St. Clair (coach of football, men's basketball, baseball, 1915-1924)
Al and Darlene McNatt – Fred McCain Award for Special Service
The Hall of Fame inductees are voted in by North Texas Letterwinners Association active members, Hall of Fame members and the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. This was the second year in which the selection process included voting by dues-paying members of the North Texas Letterwinners Association and previous inductees to the UNT Hall of Fame.
