Mean Green Announce Staff Hires, Promotions

DENTON – North Texas Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker has announced several new hires and promotions in the Mean Green Athletics Department during the fall of 2019. The additions will help bolster some areas where the department was understaffed as well as replacing some vacated positions.
Carl Evans has joined the Mean Green as a Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development where his primary focus will be on major gift fundraising. Evans joins North Texas after serving in a similar role at North Florida.
The North Texas athletics ticket office is now under the direction of Matt Carabajal, who was named Senior Associate Athletics Director for Ticket Operations earlier this fall. Carabajal most recently worked in the Ohio State athletics ticket office.
Ryan Enselein has been hired as the Director of Business Operations and will oversee much of the daily financial management of the department. Ryan Vargo has been named Director of Business Operations with oversight of all department travel.
Matt Czizek has been hired as the Director of Creative Video while Emily Baker has been hired as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions. Czizek, Baker and Vargo are all UNT alums.
Tyler Burks has been hired as a Coordinator for Compliance after previously serving as an intern in that office and Chad Ruesink joins North Texas as an assistant coordinator for football video. Anisa Muhammed is a new Athletic Trainer while Andrew Wright has been hired as a strength coach for the men's basketball and volleyball programs.
Three North Texas Athletics employees were also promoted recently. Andy Crerar has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Events while Alejandra Lopez has been promoted to Director of Development and David Nichols to Director of Ticket Sales.
