Joe Greene To Host Fundraiser June 15

DALLAS - NFL and North Texas Athletics Hall of Famer Joe Greene and the Greene Family Foundation will host the third annual Nibble & Mingle Fundraiser, benefiting the UNT Foundation Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Memorial Scholarship.
Nibble & Mingle will take place on June 15, 2019, from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Highland Hotel, 5300 E. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
The UNT Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Scholarship benefits survivors of breast cancer or students who have a parent/legal guardian who has been affected by breast cancer. The scholarship was established in October 2016 by the three children of Agnes and Joe Greene, Major, Delon and Joquel, to honor Agnes' legacy following in her passing in June 2015.
"What we hope to accomplish is to provide an avenue for young people that need an assist in getting an education," Joe Greene said.
Attendees will experience a cocktail atmosphere with friends and special guests, including NFL Hall of Famers, and culinary nibbles from event partner The Knife Restaurant and several local Dallas-Fort Worth eateries. Past Nibble & Mingle participants included The Knife, Ten Ramen, Trompo Taco, Common Table, Dee Lincoln Prime and Cattleack Barbeque.
A student jazz quartet from the University of North Texas College of Music will perform.
Attendees can bid on sports memorabilia in silent and live auctions, with proceeds benefiting the UNT Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Scholarship.
