MGVB Announces Two Summer Camp Dates

DENTON - North Texas head volleyball coach Andrew Palileo announced that he will host two volleyball summer camps in July.

The 2021 summer camp season will open July 10-11 with the All Skills Camp, which is open to any players that are entering 5th-12th grade. For players entering 5th-8th grade, the camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 10-11, while players entering 9th-12th grade will participate from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The price for this camp is $240.
The All Skills Camp offers the highest level of training for experienced players and all-around fundamentals for beginner players. This camp is designed to expose campers to the collegiate practice environment and is a great opportunity for athletes to raise their skill level in a competitive setting. Â

There will also be an Elite Camp on July 12-13. The camp is open for 10th-12th graders, but players entering 9th grade must have a letter from their high school coach. On July 12, the Elite Camp's first session will go from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the evening session at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On July 13, the morning session will last from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. before the camp wraps up with the last session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner and lunch will not be provided by the North Texas staff in between sessions.

The Elite Camp offers high level collegiate training sessions and intense competitive play. This camp is tailored to athletes who have a strong volleyball background and are serious about pursuing their volleyball careers past high school. The price for the Elite Camp is $270.Â
