Soccer Releases 2022 Spring Schedule

DENTON – The 16-time conference champion North Texas soccer team begins its 2022 spring season on March 5 when they face Texas Tech at the FC Dallas Showcase at MoneyGram Park.
UNT, who was won a league record eight Conference USA Women's Soccer trophies and done so in just nine seasons in the league, will play five total spring matches between March 5 and April 10. Three of the five matches will be played at the Mean Green Soccer and Track & Field Complex in Denton.
The Mean Green will host Oklahoma (April 8), SMU (April 2) and Brookhaven (March 25). The one true road match North Texas will travel to this spring will conclude the spring season on April 10 when they head north to face Oklahoma State.
North Texas once again is led by head coach John Hedlund who will be entering his 27th season at the helm of the UNT soccer program. This semester the Mean Green have added seven newcomers to its roster and returns nearly all of its scoring from last year.
