
Track & Field Heads to Fort Worth for TCU Invitational

Mean Green will compete in their second outdoor meet of the season.
DENTON, Texas – UNT Track & Field will travel to Fort Worth for the TCU Invitational, its second outdoor meet of the season Friday and Saturday at the Lowdon Track Complex.

Following an outdoor opener that featured six event titles and 22 top-three finishes, the Mean Green will increase the competition with the likes of host TCU, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Baylor, Hill College, Northwestern St., SMU, Texas Wesleyan and UTA.

Friday action from TCU will include the men's and women's discus and hammer throw, while the rest of the events will take place on Friday.

With the indoor season officially complete, the initial USTFCCCA Outdoor Team Rankings will be unveiled on Monday, March 27.

Live results from TCU will be provided by Flash Results Texas. The men's and women's hammer throw will kick things off Friday at noon, while Saturday action will begin with the men's and women's high jump at 10:30 a.m. Running events will start Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.
