Women's Golf Opens Play at Raleigh Regional

RALEIGH, N.C. - The UNT women's golf team opened up play at the NCAA Regional at Raleigh's Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Monday and ended the first day in 11th place after a 20-over 308.

UNT, which entered the event as the 6-seed and ranked 35th nationally, was led by senior Emilie Ricaud, who shot a 1-over 73 and is tied for 29th heading into Tuesday's second round.

UNT will be paired with Richmond and Campbell and will tee off for Tuesday's second round from Hole 10 beginning at 8:08 a.m.
