UNT Lands 218 On C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

DALLAS – UNT had 218 student-athletes named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, the league announced on Wednesday. The Mean Green's strong contingent on the list was part of a total of 2,649 C-USA student-athletes.
To be eligible to receive this honor, one must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2022-23 academic year. In 2021-22, North Texas had a department record 231 honorees.
Some standout teams on the list included softball and soccer, which both had all team members make the list.
This is the first academic award list published by Conference USA for the 2022-23 year, with the Commissioner's Academic Medal award being announced later in the day. Student-athletes with a 3.75 GPA are eligible for that award.
