Women's Golf in Middle of Pack After Two Rounds

HUMBLE, Texas - The UNT women's golf team shot a 281-286 in the opening two rounds of The Chevron Collegiate on Monday at the Golf Club of Houston and is tied for eighth at 9-under with 18 holes left to play on Tuesday.
The Mean Green were led by freshman Bouquet Subsomboon, who shot a 67-73 and is tied for 24th at 4-under par heading to Tuesday's final round. Senior Emilie Ricaud is at 3-under par and tied for 27th as the only other UNT player under par after two rounds. Sophomore Mason Lewis and senior Ellie Roth are both at 1-over through 36 holes.
No. 41 UNT will be paired with Texas State and Illinois on Tuesday and the final round is set for a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The Mean Green are currently two shots up on No. 29 Houston and nine up on No. 33 Oklahoma State.
