DENTON - The Mean Green Football coaches' wives are hosting a women's football clinic to benefit charity and put fans behind the scenes to get a taste of what life is like as a UNT football player.
The Mean Green Queens event will take place on Monday, July 29, with all proceeds benefiting Denton County Friends of the Family. Registration is $40 per person and includes instruction from coaches and players in football drills, a tour of the facility, dinner and a silent auction. The event begins at 6 p.m., and check-in starts at 5:30 p.m.
The facility tour will include stops at separate stations, such as Chalk Talk, learning about the recruitment process and a nutrition and fitness station. The dinner in the Hub Club at DATCU Stadium includes two drink tickets and will also feature vendors and a photo station. There will also be an opportunity to meet UNT coaches and their wives, who will take part in a newlywed game.
Fans can register for the event here.
Denton County Friends of the Family, which was established in 1980, provides compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with the community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention.
