Volleyball Announces Roster Additions

Porter adds six transfers, six freshmen to 2024 roster
DENTON, Texas – Ahead of the 2024 volleyball season, UNT head coach Kristee Porter announced 12 additions to her roster on Wednesday.
Among the 12-player class, six of the newcomers are transfers while six are incoming freshmen. The Mean Green welcomes eight players from Texas along with Lauren Wheeler from Kansas, Parker Gladhill from Oklahoma, Julia Moi Tennøy from Norway and Payton Van Veen from Missouri.
The group bolsters a roster of 10 returning players that earned UNT its first bid to a national postseason tournament since 2018 at last season's NIVC. Seniors Truli Levy, Aryn Johnson, and Coco Gillett scored 94% of the team's points among returning players while junior Kamryn Scroggins led the team with 390 assists in conference matches.
UNT's transfer class is composed of one senior (Priscilla Jones), three juniors (Nylah Raspberry, Paige Mooney, Van Veen) and two sophomores (Wheeler and Claire Dewine).
