Women's Golf Opens Play at Schooner

NORMAN, Okla. - The UNT women's golf team opened up play on Saturday at the Schooner Fall Classic and sit in a gaggle of teams in the middle of the pack in ninth place at 6-over par but just four shots behind fifth-place Wisconsin.
The Mean Green were led on the opening day by junior Mason Lewis, who is tied for 16th after shooting an even-par 70. She was followed by sophomore Bouquet Subsomboon, who is tied for 28th at 1-over par. Sophomore Katharina Anglett shot a 2-over 72 and is tied for 37th.Â
Round 2 will begin with tee times on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The Mean Green will be paired with Florida State and Tulane, and fans can follow the event live on Scoreboard.
