
Washington Earns Second Team All-America Honors at NCAA Indoors

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — UNT sophomore Jaylen Washington earned second team All-America honors in the 60-meter dash at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.
He placed 16th in the semifinals of the 60 meters with a time of 6.71.
Washington is the first male student-athlete to earn All-America honors at the indoor meet in program history. He was just the second sprinter to ever make it to the NCAA Indoor Championships, joining Keyth Talley in 2010.
The Mean Green will begin the outdoor season at the TCU Alumni Invite on March 21-22.
